Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of I Can Plan It (the "Service"), operated by [OWNER NAME], trading as "I Can Plan It" (ABN [ABN]) ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account.

2. The Service

I Can Plan It helps you plan events, manage guests and RSVPs, run gift registries, and organise Secret Santa exchanges. We may add, change, or remove features from time to time.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
• upload content that infringes others' rights or violates any law;
• send unsolicited or bulk messages, or misuse guest contact details;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.

4. Plans, upgrades and billing

The Service offers a free plan, one-time per-event upgrades (Pro and Premium), and an Unlimited monthly subscription. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.

• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime and retain access until the end of the current billing period.
• One-time upgrades apply to a single event and are charged once.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as event, guest, and registry details). You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the Service. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or intellectual property except as needed to use the Service.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting/database), Resend (email), Google Maps (location), and Sentry (error monitoring). Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies those statutory rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where required by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
